Who we are
iRabt is a healthcare recruitment platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It connects healthcare professionals with clinics, hospitals and medical centres, and supports screening, interviews, offers, licensing and onboarding.
iRabt decides why and how your personal data is used on the platform, and is responsible for it under this policy. Employers who receive candidate information through iRabt are responsible for how they use it in their own hiring.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the iRabt website, the candidate portal, the employer and staff workspaces, our WhatsApp number and our email. It sits alongside the Terms of Use, the Candidate Terms and Conditions offered during guided onboarding and WhatsApp registration, and the agreement employers sign with iRabt.

How we use your information
- To create and run your account, and keep it secure.
- To read your CV and documents and fill in your profile, so you do not type it twice.
- To match candidates with vacancies and rank how well a profile fits a role.
- To send job alerts that match your profile and preferences, when you are open to work.
- To schedule interviews, send offers and track onboarding and joining dates.
- To answer your questions through our assistant, our team and our support center.
- To process subscription payments and placement invoices.
- To send our weekly newsletter, which you can turn off at any time.
- To meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent misuse of the platform.
Who can see your profile
The starting setting is called "Employers can find you, here and beyond". It also records your permission for iRabt to show your profile outside the platform in future. Nothing is shown outside iRabt today, and we will update this policy before that changes.
You can change this at any time in your portal under Profile, Privacy:
- Employers on iRabt can find you: your full profile, inside the platform only.
- Findable, but not by name: employers see your experience and qualifications, never your name, photo, contact details or documents.
- No one can find you: you do not appear when employers search. You can still apply to jobs, and our team keeps working with you.
Whatever you choose, an employer you apply to, or one considering you for a specific role, sees the profile you share with them. An employer never sees the name of a candidate who chose to stay anonymous.
WhatsApp, email and your choices
- WhatsApp: we message you about your applications, interviews and offers when you have agreed to it, and about new roles when you have agreed to marketing messages. Job alerts and other marketing messages are sent only between 09:00 and 22:00 Dubai time. A message we held for you may arrive right after you write to us.
- Reply STOP at any time and we stop every proactive WhatsApp message to your number. STOP also stops our job alert emails and the weekly newsletter. Reply START to receive updates about your applications again.
- Email: we send account and recruitment updates, and a weekly career newsletter you can switch off in Settings, Notifications.
- Notifications: choose which updates you receive and how, in Settings, Notifications.
Why we are allowed to use it
- To provide the service you asked for: your account, matching, applications and the hiring process.
- Your consent: WhatsApp messages and marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before.
- Our legitimate interests: keeping the platform secure, preventing misuse and improving how matching works, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligations: records we must keep, and requests we must answer.
Identity and medical documents are sensitive. We ask for identity documents, such as your passport and Emirates ID, so your profile is ready for onboarding, and medical documents only when an employer needs them to onboard you. Uploading them is your choice. We never use them for matching, and we never index them for search.
Where your data is stored
Our database, our files and the app itself run in the European Union (Ireland and Sweden). Some providers, such as OpenAI, process data in the United States. When data leaves the UAE or the European Union, we rely on the safeguards the law allows, such as the provider's data processing terms and standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Your account and profile stay while your account is open.
- Documents you upload stay on your profile until you remove them or close your account. A document that supports a licence or credential our team has verified stays as part of that verification record.
- When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records the law requires us to keep, which we keep only for the period the law sets.
- Hiring records an employer keeps for its own obligations are the employer's responsibility.
How we protect it
- Every connection to iRabt is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Sign in uses secure, HttpOnly session cookies, and passwords are stored only as a hash.
- When you open a CV, photo or document in iRabt, the app checks that you may see it, and each role sees only what it needs.
- Employers see only the candidates they are allowed to see, and never an anonymous candidate's identity.
No system is perfectly secure. If you think your account or data has been misused, write to contact@irabt.com straight away.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete. Most of it you can edit yourself in your profile.
- Delete your data or close your account.
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing.
- Send your data to you or another service in a common format.
- Withdraw a consent you gave.
- Have a person review a decision made only by automated means.
Write to contact@irabt.com from the email address on your account, or use the support center in your portal. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we answer within the period the law sets. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office or, in the European Union, to your local data protection authority.
Age
iRabt is for working professionals and employers. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date and version at the top of this page. If a change affects how your profile is shown or shared, we tell you in your portal or by email before it applies.
