About the role
Cedars Medical Centre is opening an eight bed adult intensive care unit in Dubai and is hiring a senior registered nurse to help run it. You will take charge of a nursing team across a 12 hour shift pattern, lead the care of ventilated and haemodynamically unstable patients, and act as the clinical point of contact for the intensivist on duty. The unit runs a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio for level 3 patients and 1:2 for level 2. You will also mentor junior nurses rotating through the unit and take part in our monthly clinical governance review.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Valid DHA licence, or eligibility to obtain one before the start date. Minimum 5 years post qualification experience with at least 3 years in an adult ICU. Current BLS and ACLS certification. Experience with mechanical ventilation, vasoactive infusions, CRRT and invasive haemodynamic monitoring. Fluent English. Arabic is an advantage but not required.
